Background Information
The Forum meets on an annual basis and enables people to exchange information, agree priorities and enable stakeholder participation with Invasive Species Ireland and state agencies. Invasive Species Ireland works in an open and transparent way. The Forum is one of the key opportunities for people to shape activities for the coming year.
Each year. the Forum covers different topics. Past events have included presentations from some of Ireland’s leading invasive species experts, invasive species managers, experts from Britain and invited international speakers. A key aspect to the Forum is to provide the opportunity for stakeholder groups to develop networks and enabling them to progress management and research partnerships and share information more effectively.
