There is a large number of potential and established non-native species on the island of Ireland but which of these are have damaging effects on native species and ecosystems and which will lend themselves to management?
A risk assessment has been carried out to help answer these questions. This process was designed to take into account the economic and legislative obligations of both jurisdictions.
